Spreading cyber safety tips with Aunties, Uncles and a singing fish

The latest campaign from distillery is a fun and catchy music video that sets out to educate everyday Singaporeans on how to keep their Singpass data and credentials safe. 

Protecting the data of a population


Singpass wanted to reach a broad audience of all ages with advice on how to protect their digital ID and ensure it never fell into the wrong hands. They have a series of tips and strategies to protect yourself, from always checking website urls to ensuring message Sender IDs are legitimate.


Turning safety tips into a catchy hit
 


To arm everyday Singaporeans with the advice and guidance they need to protect themselves from cyber crime, the distillery team created a catchy song that delivers all the important messages as a multi-genre earworm.

Moving from rap vocals to more soulful notes and all the way to a big K-pop inspired chorus, the song features important cyber safety guidance and even a singing fish! 

The ‘Be Sure. Be Secure’ campaign will be running across online channels as part of a nationwide campaign to keep Singaporeans’ Singpass data safe. Check out the film below, but be warned… it will get stuck in your head!
