Attending the biggest education technology event in the world.

Our Project Manager, Jess and our Creative Director, Adam recently attended Bett 23 at the ExCel Centre - the biggest education technology event in the world. The conference showcases cutting-edge and impactful products and services for all education settings, with keynote speakers and events centred around the future of education technology.

We’re always interested in attending events about new technology that has the potential to create a positive impact on the world and make education more accessible and inclusive.

Key takeaways

Education is becoming more personalised - technology in the classroom is enabling teachers and educators to tailor lessons and support individual students much more easily and efficiently

Bi-directional learning - students are more enabled to drive their own education. Access to technology means learning is not limited to the classroom

Esports is growing and has been added to the curriculum in some schools, which helps develop key skills and encourage confidence in a less conventional way. Lots of schools also have their own esports teams that are accessible, inclusive and support students with different education needs.

AI is being deployed and developed for the future of learning - it already aids accessibility, and can be used to drive adaptive learning. Teachers will always be needed though, to ask thought provoking questions and show you different ways of thinking, whilst keeping you on the right track in your education journey!

Can you spot what is different about this Chromebook keyboard compared to a normal keyboard?

Answer:

The keyboard is in lower case as this is easier for children to learn to type on as they are normally taught to write in the lowercase alphabet first.
